I have been charged twice on my debit card. What's going on?
When you make a pre-order using a debit card, the card will be checked once too see if it is available for use. When this transaction is running, it may appear as if the payment has been made but there is no payment made at this point.
Authorizations generally drop after a few days, but this process can vary depending on your financial institution. If you notice an authorization that doesn’t drop, we recommend that you contact your bank for more details about their authorization procedure.
Your card will only get charged when the project successfully ends. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. We apologize for this misleading appearance, but please be aware that we are only charging you once.
